AmeriCorps Fellows are provided free fully furnished housing, receive a biweekly stipend and complete health care benefits. They also receive a substantial educational grant after completing a year of service. AmeriCorps Fellows have diverse responsibilities and may serve as academic support specialists for students, develop their own enrichment courses, and supervise the Saturday field trip program. The ideal candidate is willing to live where they serve, seeks to make a difference, and believes that all children deserve the opportunity for a fantastic education.
